The Weapons of the S.E.C.C.T.S.

Weapon systems are the necessary evil, to protect your planets and to be able to defend yourself from hostile attacks while you are traveling through the universe.

Since S.E.C.C.T.S. have transformed into what they are today, they evolved an unstoppable desire to increase the size of their empire. As a result of all the cruelty from the past they developed an impulsive need for self defense – and as such for the deployment of weapons that can cause massive havoc.
Having mounted these weapons they pursuit their ambition of complete dominion over the galaxies.

The weapon systems can be mounted on any of the free slots of a spaceship chassis. Every slot can have an advantage and/or a disadvantage for the type of weapon being mounted. This is where you come into play and can trump over your opponent with a smart configuration.

The Weapons

Energy Torpedo

Selective discharge of pure energy has a comparable destructive power to the most powerful missiles. The damage can’t be stopped by armor.

Since the energy torpedos have the ability to seek their target on their own it is possible to fire them from any angle without having to align the ship in the direction of the enemy first.

Laser

Laser systems are based on charged photon particles and raise the range of energy weapon systems.

The Laser is the ideal weapon for the prelude of a large battle. Its bloodcurdling sizzle incites the S.E.C.C.T.S. battle troops like nothing else!

Photon Flux

Photons are able to blast through the most powerful plating in energized form and can only be stopped by energy shields.

This weapon gives the high speed fighters a big advantage over anything else in close combat.

Plasma Cannon

A hybrid weapon that combines the efficiency of projectile weapon systems with the characteristics of the energy weapon systems. Unfortunately the piercing force is the same.

Due to its low destructive capabilities, this weapon is seldomly used in the arsenal of the S.E.C.C.T.S. space ships. However if they are built in a ship, the Plasma Cannon must be deployed in the right tactical situation.

Auto Cannon

High density particles are accelareted to almost light speed and are able to bypass the energy shields. Massively plated ships are able to withstand the destruction, everything else gets torn apart.

In extreme close combat situations, the Auto Cannon flattens the way for the boarding troops.

Missile Launcher

The launchers allow a ship to launch a large amount of missiles simultaneously and is the projectile weapon system with the longest range.

Using the Missile Launcher the enemies of the S.E.C.C.T.S. Empire can be bombarded from large distance.

Structural Accelerator

The consequent implementation of projectile accelaration led to the Structural Accelerator. The devastating destructive power of this weapon system is most efficient in medium range.

The Structural Accelerator is the ideal solution to deal ships that are trying to retreat the finishing blow.
