History of the Celetanians

The venerable Celetanians have always been the guardians for the balance of power in all known galaxies. They are a nation that was able to observe stars emerging out of nothing as well as suns melting away in a graceful art of light and fire.

They were the guardians for a long time – long before younger nations were able to develop intelligence which eventually led to space travel after thousands of years evolution. The Celetanians assisted these young nations and helped them to advance into a golden age. They laid out the rules, which every living being had to follow.

As time went by, the now advanced nations sought after freedom and rejection for the unconditional trust versus the Celetanians started to take the upper hand. To avoid a war with disastrous results, Celetanians had no other option other than accepting this. They started to construct the largest and mightiest ships that were ever built! They evacuated all their planets one by one and left to an unknown location...

With the Celetanians leaving, the established order started to collapse right in front of the eyes of these now advanced nations. Many emperors started claiming the now empty throne and the power connected to it for themselves. As soon as a ship of the Celetanians left one of their home worlds, a swarm of plunderers would drop in and try to salvage the ultimate artifact in the leftovers of this incredibly old civilization in the hopes of being able to swing the pendulum of power in their own direction.
